Accelerators and Incubators

ATDC

A program of the Georgia Institute of Technology, is the state of Georgia’s technology startup incubator. Founded in 1980 by the Georgia General Assembly, which funds it each year, ATDC’s mission is to work with entrepreneurs in Georgia to help them learn, launch, scale, and succeed in the creation of viable, disruptive technology companies.

GA State ENI

Georgia State University, an enterprising public research university, transforms the lives of the most diverse student body in the nation. As part of that endeavor, Georgia State’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute (ENI) is uniquely structured to address the next generation of entrepreneurs through innovation, access, and societal impact. ENI works to provide students with access to unique interdisciplinary programs, practical experiences in entrepreneurship, and thriving corporate and startup communities.

404 DAO

Born out of Blockchain at Georgia Tech, 404 DAO is a 501c(3) nonprofit and collective of individuals committed to transforming Atlanta into a web3 hub.

Synergies Work

Synergies Work is the largest startup hub in the United States for disability-led businesses that has served over 300 founders through its accelerator and incubator programs. By supporting founders at every stage of their journey, we are building an entrepreneurial ecosystem for disabled founders to thrive. We are igniting a movement of entrepreneurship within the disability community, based on our three pillars.

Zane Ventures

Addressing the funding gap, putting capital where it counts with diverse founders in the Southeast and other underfunded regions. We invest in bold founders of tech-enabled solutions with innovative business models, and signs of early traction. Zane offers more than money, we provide our founders with mentoring and access to the kind of network of resources needed to allow their talent to shine–and their companies to grow.

Atlanta Tech Angels

Founded in 1998, Atlanta Technology Angels is a non-profit member association of angel investors that invests in early stage technology companies based in Georgia and the Southeast. Atlanta Technology Angels is an active source of private capital and business experience to local technology entrepreneurs.

Endeavor Atlanta

The Leading Global Community Of, By, and For High-Impact Entrepreneurs. We create a Multiplier Effect by inspiring high-growth entrepreneurs to dream bigger, supporting and investing in them to scale faster, and providing a platform to pay it forward.

TiE Atlanta Angels

TiE Atlanta Angels (TAA) launched in Summer 2017 as a capital raise platform designed to invest in new, high growth entrepreneurial startups with a primary focus in the Southeast US. TAA involves like-minded accredited investors who partner with other investors in a portfolio approach. From August 2017, TAA has completed investments into over 40 companies for a total of $9.1 million, making it one of the fastest growing angel groups in the southeast.

Tech Alpharetta

Startup incubator is located in the heart of Alpharetta and serves tech startups from across the metro and north metro region. The Tech Alpharetta Innovation Center helps tech startups achieve success at every step of their journeys, by providing its members with mentors, coaching, startup workshops, investor connections, community, and 24/7 workspace.

Startup Atlanta

Accion Opportunity Fund

Accion Opportunity Fund is a financial support system that provides diverse, determined small businesses owners with access to capital, networks, and coaching.

ThinkTECH

The nationally acclaimed ThinkTECH Accelerator promotes growth-stage companies who are currently serving or wish to serve community banks and their customers. We host two 10-week hybrid accelerators annually in addition to a variety of pitch sessions and innovation programing to support community banking innovation.

GA Fintech Academy

The Georgia Fintech Academy is talent development initiative which serves the University System of Georgia, offering a range of classes, events, career fairs, a podcast, and numerous other networking opportunities.

The Simple Vue Academy

The Simple Vue Academy provides a sustainable pathway to entrepreneurship for scholars in grades 6-12. The academy offers a comprehensive education that integrates STREAM-based subjects (Science, Technology, Reading/Writing, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) into the curriculum. In addition to academic learning, the academy also provides guidance on business and financial management to foster an entrepreneurial mindset among its students. By combining these elements, The Simple Vue Academy equips students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to pursue entrepreneurship successfully.

TiE ACCESS

TiE ACCESS, launched in 2020, is a diversity, equity and inclusion program that aims to pave in-roads for minority and women-owned businesses to build their companies and networks not only here in Atlanta, but at an international scale, thanks to TiE Global’s global impact.

The Urban League of Greater Atlanta has been all about economic empowerment since we opened our doors more than 99 years ago. TiE Atlanta
